evroc welcomes Terje Marthinussen as Chief Technology Officer

Stockholm, August 27, 2025 – evroc today announced the appointment of Terje Marthinussen as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Terje brings extensive experience and a strong track record in technological innovation and leading high-performance teams to evroc, as the company builds Europe’s first hyperscale sovereign cloud.

Terje joins evroc with a distinguished career in technology leadership, including his role as VP of Site Reliability Engineering at Google, where he led SRE for Google Search, Advertising, Geo, Shopping, and other critical services. Prior to Google, he spent over 14 years at Rakuten, the global leader in e-commerce and digital services, serving as Group CTO and Managing Executive Officer. Earlier in his career, Terje also held a Sr. Development Lead role at Microsoft. Most recently, he served as CTO at Summa Equity, advising portfolio companies on leveraging technology to enhance business operations.
