evroc is building Europe's first sustainable hyperscale cloud and AI infrastructure, to enable a secure and sovereign digital future for Europe.
Something fundamental is shifting in how the world competes. For decades, digital infrastructure was treated as a commodity, sourced wherever it was most convenient. European businesses, governments and institutions built their operations on platforms controlled by a handful of companies headquartered far beyond European borders.
It worked well enough. Until it didn't.
Today, the cloud is not just infrastructure. It is the foundation on which AI is built, on which industries are transformed and on which strategic advantage is won or lost. And Europe, despite its deep reserves of engineering talent, industrial strength and scientific capability, finds itself dependent on non-European platforms to run its most sensitive workloads, train its most important models and operate its most critical services.
This is not a technical problem. It is a structural one, and it demands a structural answer.
evroc was founded to provide that.

Founded in 2022 and backed by European investors EQT Ventures, Norrsken VC, Giant Ventures and blisce, evroc is building what Europe has never had: a cloud and AI services platform at scale, designed, owned and operated under European jurisdiction, with no foreign control planes, no external software dependencies and no back doors that Europe didn't build itself.
When the legal or geopolitical climate shifts, control that sits outside Europe becomes a liability. evroc is built differently. Every layer of the stack, infrastructure, software and services, is under exclusive European ownership and control. That is what sovereignty actually means.
The platform launched in 2025 and is already serving clients in the sectors where the stakes are highest: regulated industries, public institutions, defence organisations and operators of critical national infrastructure.

evroc makes no concessions to legacy constraints. The platform is engineered for the demands of the AI era from the ground up.
Complete control-plane autonomy. Data residency and operational governance remain in Europe, always, with zero dependencies on external software.
High-performance GPU compute, low-latency multi-zone architecture and scalable AI workload support, built for the most demanding environments.
Fully API-driven platform built on open-source foundations, supporting general enterprise applications through to advanced AI and mission-critical services.
Founded with a mission to build Europe's first hyperscaler.
Presents its plans to build Europe's first secure, sovereign, and sustainable hyperscale cloud, putting an end to the foreign dominance of the European cloud market.
Selects Stockholm for flagship data center, with the ambition to establish the facility as the epicenter for AI in Europe.
Opens offices in the United Kingdom and France.
Finalizes land purchase in Stockholm, marking key step for the flagship AI data center.
Boosts Europe's competitiveness with first AI factory in France, pioneering next-generation hyperscale cloud and critical AI infrastructure.
Raises largest tech Series A in the Nordics to accelerate European growth. Round was led by international investment firm blisce/ and joined by Giant Ventures. Existing backers EQT Ventures and Norrsken VC also participated.
The European Cloud launches. Active cloud regions go live in Stockholm, Paris and Frankfurt, with redundant data centres and dedicated AI infrastructure in each.

evroc announces two initiatives aimed at strengthening European digital sovereignty: roc and evroc think. roc, enterprise AI built for real business use cases. Powered by leading models with trillions of parameters and running on evroc's European GPU infrastructure, roc brings state of the art AI to European enterprises without compromise. And evroc Think, a sovereign AI platform designed to help organizations run advanced AI workloads on European infrastructure.
evroc announced that it is working with the Swedish Armed Forces to build Swedish Interoperable Combat Cloud, a secure national system for command and control. The platform is engineered to be accredited for NATO restricted workloads, keeping the most sensitive military data and operations under Swedish and European control.
evroc and KPMG Sweden presented a joint offering giving organisations in highly regulated and mission-critical sectors a single, end-to-end route to operational sovereignty.
